IT support shaped around how your industry actually works
The technology is largely the same everywhere. What differs is what breaks the business when it fails, what the regulator expects, and which software everyone in your field runs. Those are the parts worth knowing before you start.
We support 11 sectors in depth across South-East Queensland and remotely Australia-wide. If yours is not listed, it does not mean we cannot help — it means we have not written the page yet.

What "industry specialist" should actually mean
Plenty of providers claim vertical expertise and mean that they have a page for it. The parts that genuinely differ between industries are narrower than the marketing suggests, and worth being specific about.
What downtime costs, and when. An accounting firm in October and a retailer in December have peaks that a generic support arrangement will not have planned for. A medical practice with a full waiting room has no equivalent of catching up tomorrow.
What the obligations are. Trust account rules, health record legislation, licensee security policies and head-contractor questionnaires are all real constraints that shape what has to be built and evidenced.
Which software everyone runs. Knowing that a practice runs Best Practice, or a firm runs LEAP, or a builder runs Procore, means the environment around it is familiar rather than discovered at your expense.
Beyond those three, the work is the same discipline everywhere: patch things, back them up, control who can log in, and answer the phone. Any provider suggesting your industry needs something fundamentally different is probably selling something.
