Remote IT support delivered Australia-wide by engineers in our Loganholme office — helpdesk, patching, monitoring and security for staff in any location.
What remote IT support actually covers
Somewhere in the last decade, “IT support” stopped being a person who walks to your desk and became a service delivered over a network. The change was not marketing. Patching, identity and access, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint security, backup verification, software deployment, user onboarding and offboarding, and the overwhelming majority of helpdesk tickets are all work that happens over a connection.
That is why our client base is not bounded by the map on our service areas page. Remote support runs Australia-wide. What is bounded is how quickly an engineer can physically arrive, which matters for a genuinely small share of the work.
Who this suits
Remote-first support is the right shape for businesses that:
- Have staff working from home, or across more than one site,
- Are outside South-East Queensland but want an Australian provider rather than an offshore helpdesk,
- Run a mostly cloud stack — Microsoft 365, hosted line-of-business apps — where there is very little on-premises hardware left to touch,
- Are small enough that a full-time internal IT hire is not justified, but large enough that “the person who is good with computers” has stopped being a workable answer.
If you still run significant on-premises infrastructure, remote support handles the day-to-day and onsite support covers the rest.
How we deliver it
A managed agent, not a random tool. Every supported device runs an RMM agent installed during onboarding. It does three jobs: reports health, applies patches, and provides the session channel our engineers connect through. It is visible in the system tray, and staff can see when a session is active.
Consent and audit on every session. Attended sessions require the user to approve the connection. Unattended access exists for servers and after-hours maintenance, and it is logged separately. Session records include who connected, when, and for how long.
Escalation that goes somewhere. Tickets that cannot be resolved on first touch move to senior engineering rather than sitting in a queue. If the issue turns out to need hands, we say so quickly instead of spending two days proving it remotely.
What it costs
Unlimited remote support is included at the flat per-device rate on the Standard plan and above — $75 per computer per month, ex GST. There is no per-ticket charge and no call-out fee, because there is no call-out. Work out your own number with the pricing calculator.
The honest limitation
Remote support cannot replace a power supply, re-terminate a cable, or bring up a machine that will not reach the network. For South-East Queensland clients that is what onsite attendance is for. Outside that region, we either coordinate a local contractor or walk your own people through it — which works, but it is slower and worth knowing before you sign rather than during an outage.
