End-to-end managed IT for Brisbane and SEQ businesses: helpdesk, proactive monitoring, patching, vendor management, onsite support and embedded cybersecurity — under one flat-rate per-device contract.

Why Brisbane businesses outsource IT to JTIT

Most small and mid-sized Brisbane businesses are at an awkward IT size: too big for “the boss’s nephew sorts the laptops,” too small to justify a full internal IT team. The result is what we hear every week — slow tickets, a security posture nobody’s confident about, mystery licences nobody can find, and a backup that may or may not actually work.

JTIT exists for that gap. We’re an Australian-owned managed services provider headquartered in Loganholme, supporting over 1,500 employees across South-East Queensland since 2010. We run the helpdesk, monitor the systems, do the patching, and act as your IT department — for a flat per-device fee.

What “managed IT” actually means at JTIT

A managed IT contract with JTIT is a single monthly fee that covers:

  • Unlimited helpdesk — phone, email, portal, real Australian engineers.
  • 24/7 monitoring of endpoints, servers, networks and Microsoft 365.
  • Patch management for Windows, macOS and the third-party apps that ransomware actually exploits.
  • Cybersecurity stack: managed EDR, email security, MFA enforcement, dark-web monitoring and ongoing security awareness training.
  • Backup verification — daily, with quarterly restore tests because an untested backup is a hope, not a plan.
  • Vendor management — we sit between you and your line-of-business software vendors, ISP, mobile carrier and hardware supplier.
  • Quarterly business reviews — strategic, not just “here’s a list of tickets.”

This is different from break-fix or pay-as-you-go IT. With break-fix, your provider only earns when something goes wrong. With managed IT, we earn when your environment runs smoothly — which is the only way the incentives line up correctly.

Who this is for (and who it isn’t)

A JTIT managed IT engagement is the right call if you:

  • Run a Brisbane or SEQ business with somewhere between 10 and 150 staff.
  • Use Microsoft 365 (or want to) and a mix of cloud + on-prem systems.
  • Have a compliance, insurance or contractual obligation that means cybersecurity actually has to work.
  • Want predictable monthly IT spend instead of unpredictable invoices.
  • Value a real conversation with someone who knows your business over a faceless ticket queue.

It’s probably not the right call if you’re a 1–3 person micro-business looking for the cheapest possible support, or if you already have a strong internal IT team and don’t need a partner. (For the latter — read about our co-managed IT services instead.)

How JTIT compares to other Brisbane MSPs

The Brisbane managed services market is crowded. The main differences with JTIT:

  1. No outsourced tier-1. Many MSPs in Australia now front-line their helpdesk with overseas teams reading scripts. We don’t. Every ticket is answered by an engineer at our Loganholme office.
  2. Cybersecurity is included, not “Premium.” Email security, EDR, MFA, dark-web monitoring and Essential Eight uplift are part of the base agreement, because in 2026 they have to be.
  3. Flat-rate pricing without the asterisks. No “after-hours surcharge for in-scope incidents,” no separate fee for a security event response, no per-ticket gotchas.
  4. Genuine local presence. Same-day onsite is a phone call away — not a four-hour drive from a city office.
  5. We say no. If you don’t need a service, we’ll tell you. You can read the testimonials — clients pick up on it.

What happens when you reach out

Every JTIT engagement starts with a free IT health check. It’s a structured 60–90 minute review of your environment, security posture, licensing and risks, with a written report at the end. You keep the report whether you sign with us or not. From there:

  1. We design a managed services proposal sized to your environment.
  2. You compare it (genuinely — get other quotes too).
  3. If we’re a fit, onboarding takes 2–4 weeks; documentation, monitoring, security baselines and patching schedules are all in place before we go live.
  4. From month two onwards you have a single monthly invoice and a named account manager.

What you get with JTIT

Concrete deliverables, not vague promises.

Predictable per-device pricing

From $50 per device per month, all-inclusive. No per-ticket fees, no time-and-materials billing, no surprise after-hours charges for in-scope work.

A named team, not a rotating queue

Your tickets are handled by the same engineers every time, escalating to the Loganholme team who already know your environment.

Proactive monitoring, not reactive firefighting

We watch endpoints, servers, network, backups and Microsoft 365 24/7. Most issues are resolved before your team notices.

Cybersecurity built in, not bolted on

EDR, email security, MFA enforcement, patching and dark-web monitoring are part of the base offering — not premium upsells.

Onsite when remote isn't enough

Same-day technician dispatch across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands and the Gold Coast from our Loganholme office.

Vendor wrangling included

We deal with your internet provider, line-of-business software vendors, hardware suppliers and Microsoft so your team doesn't have to.

Frequently asked questions

How much do managed IT services cost in Brisbane?

JTIT managed IT pricing starts at $50 per device per month and runs to about $155 per device for fully-managed plans with embedded cybersecurity. Servers are $155–$255 per server per month. Pricing is flat-rate so the more efficiently we run your environment, the better — both sides win. Final pricing depends on the device count, security requirements and whether you want fully-managed or co-managed cover.

What's included in JTIT's managed IT services?

Unlimited remote helpdesk, 24/7 endpoint and server monitoring, patch management, antivirus and EDR, email security, dark-web monitoring, MFA enforcement, backup verification, vendor liaison, quarterly business reviews and onsite visits within scope. Microsoft 365 administration, security awareness training and Essential Eight uplift are typically included or available as add-ons.

How fast does JTIT respond to support tickets?

Critical issues (system down, security event) are responded to within 30 minutes during business hours and within an hour after-hours. Standard tickets are typically actioned within 1–2 hours. Onsite dispatch is same-day across Brisbane and Logan, next-business-day for Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.

Do I need to replace my existing in-house IT team?

No — JTIT works equally well as fully-outsourced IT or co-managed IT alongside your internal team. Co-managed clients typically use us for after-hours cover, security operations, project work and the patching/monitoring grind that an internal IT manager doesn't have time for.

How long is a JTIT managed IT contract?

Standard contracts are 12 months. We don't lock clients into 36-month deals — if we're not delivering, you should be able to leave. Most clients renew because we earn it, not because they're stuck.

Are JTIT's managed services suitable for businesses outside Brisbane?

Yes. Our remote support and monitoring covers any location with internet. Onsite support is included as standard for Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands and the Gold Coast; further afield (Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba) is available with travel arrangements.

What size businesses does JTIT support?

Typical clients are 10–150 staff Australian businesses across accounting, legal, construction, manufacturing, professional services and not-for-profit. We also run co-managed engagements for larger organisations with internal IT teams.
